AWS Cloud Practitioner Practice Tests

113 free practice questions across 5 tests, each with the correct answer and an explanation. No account needed.

These questions are written from AWS’s published exam guide and service documentation. They are not real exam questions — nobody who has sat the exam may reproduce those, and any site offering them is putting your certification at risk.

The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam (CLF-C02) is 65 questions, of which 50 are scored — the other 15 are unscored questions AWS is trialling, and they are not identified during the exam. Results are reported as a scaled score from 100 to 1000, and 700 passes. AWS deliberately does not publish how many correct answers that represents.

The exam is weighted across four domains, and these practice tests follow the same split so you can find the area you are weakest in:

Where these questions come from

They are written from AWS's own published exam guide and service documentation — not from recalled exam questions, which would breach the agreement every candidate signs. Every answer carries an explanation, because knowing that the Well-Architected Framework has six pillars matters less than being able to tell reliability from performance efficiency.

One thing to watch

AWS is changing its support plans. The exam guide still names Developer, Business, Enterprise On-Ramp and Enterprise Support, while AWS now sells Basic, Business Support+, Enterprise and Unified Operations, and is discontinuing the first three on 1 January 2027. Study the plans the exam guide names — studying AWS's current comparison page will teach you the wrong answer.
