Colorado Driver License Practice Tests
208 free practice questions across 7 tests, each with the correct answer and an explanation. No account needed.
Colorado's written test covers the whole Colorado Driver Handbook:
road signs, driving under the influence, the rules of the road, safety and the law. Minors hold an
instruction permit for 12 months with 50 logged hours (10 at night), then carry passenger limits for
a year and a midnight-to-5 a.m. curfew, and every driver under 18 needs an adult who signs an
Affidavit of Liability.
These practice tests follow the handbook section by section: licensing, minors, seat belts and
impaired driving; being fit to drive, signals, markings and lane controls; traffic signs;
right-of-way, speed, turning, parking, freeways and passing; night, weather, mountain, rural and
work-zone driving; sharing the road with trucks, school buses, trains, light rail, bicyclists,
motorcyclists and pedestrians; and aggressive driving, emergencies and crashes. The sign test shows
the actual sign pictures.
How to use these
Read the study guide chapter first — the guides below are written
from the handbook — then take the matching test. The explanation under
each question gives the rule behind the answer, which is what the real
