Indiana Driver License Practice Tests

176 free practice questions across 6 tests, each with the correct answer and an explanation. No account needed.

Indiana's knowledge exam has two parts, one on signs and one on traffic rules, and you need 80 percent on each. Fail it and you wait until the next business day. Teens get the learner's permit at 15 with driver education or 16 without, hold it 180 days, log 50 hours with 10 at night, and drive under probationary passenger and curfew rules until 21.

These practice tests follow the Indiana Driver's Manual chapter by chapter: obtaining your credential, points, insurance and suspensions, signs and signals, lanes, passing, turning and speed limits, work zones, railroads, sharing the road and parking, and accidents and emergencies. The road-sign test shows the actual sign pictures, the way the real exam does.
