Virginia Driver License Practice Tests

150 free practice questions across 5 tests, each with the correct answer and an explanation. No account needed.

Virginia's knowledge exam has two parts. Part one is ten road sign questions, and you must get all ten right to move on. Part two is general multiple-choice, and you pass with 80 percent. Drivers under 18 who fail wait 15 days, and three failures send you to a driver education course.

These practice tests follow the Virginia Driver's Manual section by section: testing, licenses and vehicle requirements, signals, signs and markings, speed, stopping, right-of-way and turns, sharing the road, weather and impairment, and seat belts, child seats and penalties. The road-sign test shows the actual sign pictures, the way the real exam does.
