The Texas Class C knowledge exam is a multiple-choice test on the Texas Driver Handbook, and you need 70 percent to pass. Applicants under 25 take it through their driver-education course; everyone else takes it at a driver license office. Fail it and the application is held for 90 days, and after three failures you start over with a new fee.
